I'm not sure how you got here, but I'm glad you did.

(สำหรับภาษาไทย เชิญอ่านตรงนี้ครับ)

I created this page as a footnote to the personal project titled "We Suffer Together In Silence" to tell a story of my own struggle dealing with mid-life crisis. The train journey along Bangkok metro system is used as a metaphor for living a life by following a pre-determined path created by others. However this has led to a burnout and dissatisfaction in life.

According to a recent study, more than half (52%) of workers in America are experiencing burnout in 2021. I'm sure if someone does the same survey anywhere else in the world, the statistics would paint a similar picture. Burnout - whether at workplace or at home - is a very common mental issue. People who may be experiencing are probably too shy or too afraid to speak out. We rarely discuss it.

Whether or not you are going through the same phase in life, I just want to tell that you are not alone. I created this photo series as a homage to the rest of us. We all go through different stages of live. Sometimes we win, most times we lose. But right here, this is a safe space. The empty box below is where you can write anything. I will read without any judgment. But if you don't want to say anything, that's ok too. I will stand by your side, and together, we suffer in silence.

P.S. Below are some links to online information about workplace mental health which you may find helpful. The one that really resonates with me is a short story titled "I Work, Therefore I Am" by Studio Kronikeur. Do check it out!
